Our Fitness Journey

Fitness Transformation

Before helping others, we decided to first help ourselves.

Earlier I used to work in sales and marketing job, so no fixed time for food and then always ended up having outside food, junk food. This lifestyle lead to frequent challenges like cold, cough, fever every alternate month. I also used to get Continuous sneezing after waking up at morning. From school days I was underweight, and with this lifestyle I always used to feel low on energy. I then decided to start workout in gym. And offcourse with Prachi's nutrition advice, I consciously started eating protein rich and complex carbohydrates than refined outside food, empty calories food.

With this simple change in lifestyle I gained 10-15 kg muscle mass. Since so many years I have not visited doctor for cold and cough. Because of this Body and Health Transformation, I became so much passionate about taking up Health & Fitness coach as my career. It's truly said, one good decision taken from heart has power to transform our life.

Although I am Dietitian by profession, knowing and doing are two different things. With change in routine and lifestyle post marriage, I put on around 10kg weight than ideal body weight. It happened so silently that I didn't feel the need of losing weight untill I developed signs of PCOS. I got fed up with mood swings, hunger pangs, irregular menstrual cycles and acne.

In spite of having theoretical knowledge, it's application on self was very difficult for me. I could not make myself discipline to maintain healthy lifestyle regime. But then I was fortunate to receive help from wellness coach Mrs Geeta Pillay. Along with nourishing body cells with adequate nutrition and following set meal plan every day till I achieve ideal weight was simple strategy.

Because of daily accountability with her I could complete this process smoothly and in time. Right Partnership is very important in achieving success. And this gave me my professional secret, "Mentoring backed by theories equals to results".
